Our story
We met at a cousin's Jaggo, arguing over who could keep the gaagar balanced longest. Neither of us won, and neither of us has stopped laughing since.
This February, before the Guru and the sangat, we take the four Laavan together. It would not be complete without you there.

The ceremony
At the heart of the Anand Karaj, the couple walk four rounds around the Guru Granth Sahib, one for each verse of the Laavan. Each round is a step of the soul's journey together.
A promise to live by dharam: honest work, a truthful life, and the Guru's word as our guide.
Letting go of ego and fear, and meeting one another in reverence of the Divine.
A heart turned towards Waheguru, a love that grows beyond the worldly.
Sehaj: peace, balance and union. Ek jot doe moorti, one light in two forms.
